Once again, I am so honored that this family drove all the way from Hoboken for another newborn session with me. I photographed big sister, Clara, 2 years ago when she was a newborn and last month I had the pleasure of photographing their newest addition, baby Scarlett! I love that mom wanted to do some similar props and poses as big sister's session, but also some set-ups that were unique to baby sister. Looking at the big smile on Scarlett's face, I'd say she agrees!

There is truly nothing I love more than watching my little clients grow up (okay....maybe that's tied with baby snuggles....) and these two have been with me since their newborn session. I cannot believe Jackie and Katie are 2 now! I feel like that first session was just the other day; time truly does get faster and faster every year. To celebrate this momentous birthday, we had a baking party! Treats were courtesy of The Cake Crafter and the girls loved them all! Happy 2nd birthday, Jackie and Katie! Sweet, sweet Eloise was my first session of 2020 and I hope she is an indicator of how the rest of the year will go! At almost 4 weeks old, she was a dream! Welcome to the world, Eloise. You are SO loved! I know they say twins are double the trouble and double the fun. They are also double the sweetness, double the cuteness, and seriously give me all the heart eyes!!! 😍😍😍😍 Teeny tiny Sloane and Scarlett were such a dream to cuddle and photograph. They loved being snuggled up to one another and in their mom and dad's arms! There were so many favorites from their session, and I'll try not to share any from their birth announcements, but I need to share all this adorableness with the world!! Enjoy and you're welcome! 😉 When this family announced they were expecting twin girls, I was so over the moon for them! I have been photographing big brother, Adam, since he was a newborn, and was hoping I would get the chance to do so for these girls. Jacqueline Stella and Katherine Emma were born into the sweetest family and are truly a wonderful addition! They are such cuddle bugs and LOVE being next to each other. Also, LOOK AT THEIR LONG LASHES! I have total lash envy ;) I know mom and dad are soaking up all these newborn snuggles and Adam is handling all the changes like a champ while being a sweet big brother! This family is so blessed! Wow, it's been almost a month since my last blog post! YIKES! Clearly this busy season has gotten to me. But, being busy is a good thing! Especially when you get to fill your days photographing and editing memories for such exciting times in people's lives. Lisa and Chris are expecting baby #3 in January. They already have 2 little girls, Ava and Claire who are as cute as can be, and baby will be their first boy! I'm sure the girls will be such great helpers and will dote all over their little brother! I wish you all the best D family, as you bring your new bundle into the world! And Lisa - pregnancy looks amazing on you, you are just glowing! It's a GIRL!!! Meet McKinleigh Anne, born on October 28th. Weighing in at 9lbs, she is much smaller than her sister was at birth, but still has the most adorable chubby cheeks ever!!! And those rolls!! She was AMAZING for her session this morning, allowing me to pose her any which way without a peep. Sorry she was up for you all last night mom and dad, but she slept amazingly this morning! ;) Big sister Hadleigh, who you may remember from the shoot I did of her and her daddy, the police officer, is clearly smitten with the new baby! I can tell they are going to be the best of friends growing up and Hadleigh is going to be a great protector! Cream pearl outfit from Cute As Can Be Props Peach flower headbands from The Indy Cottage Prop Shop Quilt from Oh Love Props Coral mohair wrap and white pearl headband from The Tiny Blessings Boutique White small flower headband by Devoted Knits Purple, peach, and coral blanket backdrops by Fancy Fabric and Props It's been a while since I've done a session in a client's home. Ever since I ended up with a herniated disk in my neck, I decide I would no longer be lugging so many props around for newborn sessions. Luckily this momma was totally okay with that and wanted a more lifestyle approach anyway. I never know what to except when I travel, and this was a pleasant surprise! Mom has decorated their house beautifully and all the natural light coming in was AMAZING! A photographer's dream! Not only that, but the girls were ADORABLE and WONDERFUL, mom is stunningly beautiful, and a 1 year old that cooperates, - more dreams come true! I'm pretty sure that had it not been for my daughter's doctor appointment, I probably could have stayed all day and photographed these cuties. Welcome to the world baby Camryn! You are SO loved already! Yesterday morning adorable Isabelle, her fabulous big sister Sofia, and wonderful parents came into the studio for Isabelle's newborn session. She was ready to go and was a great little model! Mom even brought in a bunch of her own props from one of my favorite vendors - The Tiny Blessings Boutique. Check out some sneak peeks from the session below. Photographing 3 week old twins, Eva and Nora, was so fun! It was incredible to see how easily they snuggled up to one another and were perfectly content to be side by side. And, their big sister, Violet, is just the best! I can already tell the three of them will have so much fun growing up together. A sister is a best friend for life! I am so excited to share with you some images from all the absolutely adorable and well-dressed kids I had in the studio last weekend for spring mini-sessions. I know the parents are anxiously awaiting their images, so I plan on getting galleries out tomorrow or Friday. But, for now, enjoy all the sneak peeks! Last Saturday I was introduced to yet another wonderful family and their new addition, baby Elinor. I just love pink and white on little girls, so I was excited when mom chose those colors for this session. Baby Elinor was as sweet and adorable as they come, but for an 8 day old, she was also very opinionated and feisty! She was happy to sleep, but did not want to be disturbed in that process, so I had to be extra careful and slow when positioning her, and if she didn't like it, she let me know! Elinor also has a fabulous and adorable big sister and I know they are going to be great friends as they grow up! I really love newborns, and when they are this adorable and perfect, it really gives me baby fever! Baby Emily was 9 days old when she came to see me at my studio, and she brought along her wonderful big sister Ava, mom, and dad. She was such a calm baby, had the most perfect skin, and really does look so much like her sister! On Sunday I had the absolute pleasure to walk around Longwood Gardens with Leah and her two daughters, Amelia and Nezzie. Amelia, at only 10 years old, is such a beautiful, intelligent, creative girl, wise beyond her years. She was also an easy, cooperative subject to photograph! Plus, her little sister, Nezzie is just one of the cutest baby girls with her big, dark eyes! She stayed awake the whole time we were there and didn't cry once! Leah was hesitant to be in the pictures, but I'm so glad I was able to talk her into it! It's incredibly important for moms and dads to be in the portraits with their children because it's a treasure for them to look back at the photographs and remember their parents - they won't see wrinkles, blemishes, or the baby weight you can't seem to lose, just love and memories.
