AHHH! I have been DYING to share these images of sweet Adam! I wasn't allowed to share originally because mom and dad had family they wanted to show first as a surprise, but I'm so excited that I finally can now! Mr. Adam, with his ADORABLE hairdo, not only went camping, as I showed in his sneak peeks, but also fishing, on a milk and Oreo binge, and did some Crossfit! No wonder he was tired and sleepy!

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing little boy, Ben! He was a ROCKSTAR model and slept through his entire 3 hour session, yielding a huge gallery of images. Now that his wonderful family has had their gallery viewing, I'm excited to share more from his session with you! It was so nice going back to the neighborhood where we used to live to photograph this adorable (and tiny!) 1 week old baby boy. He was one of the calmest awake babies I've ever photographed, although thankfully he did sleep through most of the session. I love sleepy poses, but never mind if they are awake and calm. I love seeing those eyes too! Grant is clearly adored and well loved by his family and he recently gained an extra guardian angel to watch over him as he grows. Grant, you will do amazing things in your life, I just know it! <3 Now that this sweet girl's parents have had their gallery viewing, I'm so excited to show you more images from her session! Nora is BEAUTIFUL, just like her momma! And so lucky to have such wonderful parents and the best big brother ever! Little Liam just dotes over his sister and will be her protector growing up I'm sure. The day I was headed down for vacation with my family, I got a call from a local photog/friend in distraught. The mommy-and-me mini session she was supposed to have that evening got cancelled due to the overcast weather. So, after loading up the car, we booked it to the beach in torrential downpours, and got there before any rain made it. Although it was still overcast and no pretty sunset, I was greeted by these happy, smiling faces and knew it was going to be an awesome session. Just look how beautiful Megan is with her two adorable boys!! And their coordinating, not matchy-matchy, outfits were perfect! Being in landlocked PA, I have never done a shoot at the beach, but boy am I glad I did. The sand brings out the best in skin tones as there's no green color cast to content with. Hallelujah!! The beach has always been my happy place, and maybe we'll have to start taking extra long vacations just so I can book sessions down there. Anyone up for it next year?! ;) Although the crowds can be difficult to work around, Longwood Gardens is truly a beautiful place to photograph. I love living 10 minutes down the road so I can visit often with, not only my own family, but also with clients. This particular summer evening was perfect with such a sweet family. I have known the dad all of my life as our families used to live on the same street. It's fun watching their kids grow up, and it doesn't hurt that they are super ADORABLE! Oh sweet Benjamin, you are too cute! I know mom and dad are so happy you arrived early so they could start snuggling and kissing you. Welcome to the world little one! Photographers don't like to shoot mid-day unless it's overcast because the light is so harsh. Instead, we prefer what is known as the golden hour (an hour before sunset or an hour after sunrise). This time, however, is not always ideal when you have children that have early bedtimes or need help getting ready in the morning. So, I try to tweak it a bit and pretend that golden hour stretches for about 2-3 hours ;) On Sunday morning though, I couldn't have asked for a better "golden hour." My session with this sweet family started at 8am at a local nature preserve and converted barn. The sun provided us with enough light, without being too harsh. Combine that with 3 adorable kiddos and their parents and we ended up with a fabulous family session! Little Emily just turned a year old and has officially "graduated" from my baby plan. I've so enjoyed watching her grow and I hope to see her again in the future. Happy first birthday, Emily, and thank you to her parents for allowing me to capture all these special memories! Did you know that Nathan was my very first newborn client a year ago? I just can't believe how fast time has gone, and I know his parents can't either! This little cutie has gotten so big and even more adorable, if that's even possible! He is such a happy baby, and definitely loved his cake (made from scratch by mom and perfectly matched the set-up)! Nathan has gone down in my record book as best cake smasher ever, and I'm not sure if anyone can top this - just look at that mess! I LOVE it! Although Mr. Ethan really only wanted to be in mom's arms the day of his first birthday cake smash, he did loosen up enough to get some great pictures. Which, isn't too hard to do when you're this cute! That bright blonde hair, blue eyes, and happy smile are just so adorable! |
