Watching little Miss Phoebe grow this past year has been a lot of fun. She is so full of personality and definitely knows what she likes and doesn't like, right mom?! And, what better way to celebrate a first birthday than with a cake smash! These sessions are always so much fun - and messy! Phoebe's favorite part was by far the bubble bath, but she was all smiles throughout the session. Special thanks to The Kake Lady for the AMAZING cake! Happy first birthday, Phoebe!

I've been patiently awaiting the arrival of this little guy since I did his gorgeous mama's maternity session back in early August. Meet Elijah, aka baby Eli! Doesn't he have the cutest curly hair?! He was such a good baby for his session and even though he was awake after his feed, he was calm and fell back asleep within 10 minutes. Eli is on my Watch Me Grow plan and I can't wait to see him back again once he can sit and to celebrate his first birthday!! Sadly, I know those will be all too soon. Adhya is 12 days old and I'm pretty sure she broke the record for the most smiles I've capture on camera from a single newborn. Mom wanted bright, bold colors to match her gorgeous skin tones. And, Adhya's skin was so perfect, except for a few spots of flaky skin, which I actually LOVE on newborns, that I didn't even have to edit anything. She was ready to go and was a great little model! Mom even brought in a bunch of her own props from one of my favorite vendors - The Tiny Blessings Boutique. Check out some sneak peeks from the session below. Every newborn session I am prepared with props and a flow that I follow. However, I never know what the baby entering my door is going to feel like doing on any given day. When sweet Todd came in this morning, half awake, I was a bit worried. But, after a few minutes of snuggling him in the warm room with both the sound machine and baby shusher going, he fell into a deep sleep and ROCKED his session! Todd is one loved little boy, and I know he and big brother Oliver are going to be great buddies! You can already tell how much Oliver adores his new baby. I'm warning you. Little Luke's smile is completely contagious!! And I LOVE it!! <3 <3 <3 He may have been a bit grumpy for the first 5 minutes after we woke him up for pictures this morning, but that was it. As soon as he warmed up, Luke was all smiles and such a ham! I can't believe this little guy was in the studio a mere 7 months ago. Now look at him! |
