The LBP 2021 Christmas Experience
2020 was a crazy year, and 2021 isn't shaping up to be much better. Last year, I asked myself, what CAN we do safely in the studio for holiday sessions? And what CAN I do to help others celebrate safely? This is how the LBP Christmas Experience idea started.
Every client who books a Christmas Experience session will be guaranteed 30 uninterrupted minutes of family time.
-When you arrive, holiday music will be playing to get you into the Christmas spirit and each child will be handed a small gift (a book, teddy bear, or wooden toy/craft - you'll get to choose), which we'll use during the portrait session.
-Then, I'll invite you all to have a seat on the couch for the portraits themselves.
-We'll capture that perfect family photo for your Christmas card, individual portraits of the children, and everyone's favorite - the relaxed, interacting fun (milk and cookies, hot cocoa, snuggling, reading together, dancing, riding on the rocking horse, etc).
-Before leaving, I encourage parents to browse this year's amazing portrait products! The velvet, storybook album is new this year and will be sure to be a favorite tradition!
How will this be done safely? Only 1 family at a time will be in the studio, and it will be limited to only immediate family/household members. Sessions will be scheduled 1 hour and 15 minutes apart, which will allow me to sanitize every prop and object between use. There will also be an air purifier with HEPA filter to eliminate any airborne viruses/bacteria. All clients will need to use hand sanitizer upon entry. They will also be asked to monitor themselves for symptoms and take their temperature at home before leaving for the studio. Clients will not be allowed if they have had any exposure to anyone with the flu or Covid-19 and will be asked to leave if I detect any symptoms. I will be wearing a double layer mask at all times and if clients feel more comfortable, they may bring their own food, mugs, books, etc.

Where? The Little Bloom Photography's studio located at 416 West Locust Lane in Kennett Square, PA.
Cost? $275+tax for a 30 minute complete experience, gift for each child, and one 8x10 print with matching digital file. This cost is non-refundable, unless I can book your spot with another client, as it holds your spot on my very limited calendar. Additional a la carte purchases range from $190 for an 8x10 mounted print to $1990 for a 10x10 album with 15 images. You will choose your additional products after seeing your gallery of images. Images can be seen in studio or online. Linens, fabrics, suedes, and leathers will need to be chosen via FaceTime, Zoom, or in-person.
Digital Images? Matching digital files are given for each image printed.
Illness? Clients are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, loss of taste/smell, etc) and take their temperature at home before leaving for the studio. You may not come in for your session if anyone in your family has had any exposure to anyone with the flu or Covid-19 and will be asked to leave if I detect any symptoms, even as small as a runny nose and cough as I cannot take risks in these current circumstances. Teething babies are an exception. If anyone in your family is sick or has had any exposure, contact me immediately and I will try to fill your spot, you can try too. If you or I cannot find someone to fill your spot, no refunds will be given. I know the rules sound strict, but dealing with so many newborns and babies, I need to take all precautions.
What to wear? Since this year's theme is a slightly vintage take on the Night Before Christmas, feel free to dress in formal wear or vintage PJs (nightgowns for girls, button-ups for boys).
The dress my daughter is wearing is from Trish Scully (https://trishscully.com), which also has boys' formal wear. My son is simply wearing khakis, a button up shirt, and suspenders and a bowtie. I do have several suspenders and bowties here as well as lots of dresses for girls up to size 6, which you are welcome to use. There are also LOTS of places online to look for formal wear.
For my kids' pajamas, I got them both on Amazon. But a quick google search of girls white nightgown and boys button up PJs yields a lot of options. I recommend greens, golds, tans, whites, creams, and reds for the outfits. Moms and dads can coordinate with what their children are wearing. If you want to run any outfit options by me, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Holiday Cards? Holiday cards are available for purchase. Several designs will be showcased at the studio as well as a selection from an online link. Cards (and envelopes with your return address) are ordered in sets of 5, beginning at 25. They are $3.50/ea from 25-50. $3/ea from 55-100. $2.50/ea from 105-150 and $2/ea from 155-200.
