What is a Fresh 48 Session? A fresh48 session is done in the hospital or at home and capture baby and family within the first 48 hours of life. Editing is minimal as these express the real, raw, imperfect, yet somehow perfect, first days of life with a new baby.
When should I book this type of session?
Please try to contact me by the third trimester so I can get you on the calendar. I know birth dates are not exact, but it will give me a general idea of when the baby is expected. If I can accommodate a last minute session, I am happy to, but I can't always guarantee I will have availability as I typically book up a month or more in advance.
What is the price of Fresh 48 sessions?
Fresh 48 sessions are all-inclusive, meaning the price includes the sessions time as well as 20 digital images. This price is $600+ 6% PA Sales tax
When will the session take place?
This session will take place within the first 48 hours of life. You will need to contact me when you go into labor or before your scheduled c-section or induction date so that we can set a specific time.
Where will the session take place?
This type of session will mostly take place in the hospital or birthing center, but could also take place at home if you have a home delivery or are discharged within 24 hours.
How long will the session last?
Fresh48 sessions last up to 1.5 hours. Without interruption, most will be finished within 45 minutes. However, I understand that sometimes doctors, nurses, toddlers, and other interruptions may occur.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable! These sessions are very laid back and honest. If you'd prefer to stay in your hospital gown, that's totally fine! If you'd prefer to wear a robe or clothes, that's fine too!
What will happen after the session?
After your session, I will start working on your gallery and put up a sneak peek on Facebook within 48 hours. In approximately 1 week, a link to your gallery will be emailed to you for you to choose your 20 digital images.
