Had this sweet girl's gallery viewing this morning, so now I can finally share some more images with you. Yay! I just love all her adorable blonde hair and that great eye contact! It was so fun designing a session around her room - white, purple, and butterflies. I hope some of these images go on her wall to match! Welcome to the world beautiful Brielle!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a great 2016, but that you are looking forward to the what 2017 has in store! 2016 was amazing in my books, except for the last bit, but it's been nice having a little editing to distract me from the personal issues. As I'm finishing up with this beauty's session, I am ready to kick off the new year with a bang. Both a newborn and cake smash this week! Alaina was born just 11 days before Christmas, and we fit her session in, just in time for the holiday. She was a rock star, sleeping though the entire 4 hours. And, look at those cheeks and big smiles!! I'm pretty sure I could have posed and snuggled her all day. I think that's the hardest part of my job - giving these cuties back! It's a GIRL!!! Meet McKinleigh Anne, born on October 28th. Weighing in at 9lbs, she is much smaller than her sister was at birth, but still has the most adorable chubby cheeks ever!!! And those rolls!! She was AMAZING for her session this morning, allowing me to pose her any which way without a peep. Sorry she was up for you all last night mom and dad, but she slept amazingly this morning! ;) Big sister Hadleigh, who you may remember from the shoot I did of her and her daddy, the police officer, is clearly smitten with the new baby! I can tell they are going to be the best of friends growing up and Hadleigh is going to be a great protector! He was such a good baby and especially loved being swaddled! When they arrived, dad immediately saw my little hockey stick and said he was a big sports fan and played hockey in school, so I made sure to incorporate that in his session. Judging by the smile on baby Joey's face, he is going enjoy hockey too! Ever since I ended up with a herniated disk in my neck, I decide I would no longer be lugging so many props around for newborn sessions. Luckily this momma was totally okay with that and wanted a more lifestyle approach anyway. I never know what to except when I travel, and this was a pleasant surprise! Mom has decorated their house beautifully and all the natural light coming in was AMAZING! A photographer's dream! Not only that, but the girls were ADORABLE and WONDERFUL, mom is stunningly beautiful, and a 1 year old that cooperates, - more dreams come true! I'm pretty sure that had it not been for my daughter's doctor appointment, I probably could have stayed all day and photographed these cuties. Welcome to the world baby Camryn! You are SO loved already! I've been patiently awaiting the arrival of this little guy since I did his gorgeous mama's maternity session back in early August. Meet Elijah, aka baby Eli! Doesn't he have the cutest curly hair?! He was such a good baby for his session and even though he was awake after his feed, he was calm and fell back asleep within 10 minutes. Eli is on my Watch Me Grow plan and I can't wait to see him back again once he can sit and to celebrate his first birthday!! Sadly, I know those will be all too soon. Enjoy all the newborn baby snuggles now, mom and dad! Those lashes! <3 That hair! <3 Those rolls! <3 And that smile! <3 Yesterday morning adorable Isabelle, her fabulous big sister Sofia, and wonderful parents came into the studio for Isabelle's newborn session. She was ready to go and was a great little model! Mom even brought in a bunch of her own props from one of my favorite vendors - The Tiny Blessings Boutique. Check out some sneak peeks from the session below. Every newborn session I am prepared with props and a flow that I follow. However, I never know what the baby entering my door is going to feel like doing on any given day. When sweet Todd came in this morning, half awake, I was a bit worried. But, after a few minutes of snuggling him in the warm room with both the sound machine and baby shusher going, he fell into a deep sleep and ROCKED his session! Todd is one loved little boy, and I know he and big brother Oliver are going to be great buddies! You can already tell how much Oliver adores his new baby. And, mom and dad too! ;) Pants, wrap, and bonnets from The Tiny Blessings Boutique Curly felted layers from Ababa Baby Props This morning I had an absolutely adorable baby girl into the studio. She was such a great little model and I enjoyed each and every cuddle in between poses. Welcome to the world, Brielle! Sweet Weston is the third baby boy born into his family. And I am sure their hearts are overflowing with love for their newest addition! I mean, look at how perfect and adorable he is! I have no doubt that he and his brothers will be best friends and get into all kinds of trouble together! Thanks for coming to visit and pose for me this morning Mr. Weston! Oh Abigail, how sweet you are! I'm so glad I had the chance to capture these memories and little details for your parents. You are too perfect for words! I LOVE my job! I know I say it at least once a day, but I really do! And getting to snuggle 2 babies at once = heaven! I know mom and dad are so thankful for these 2 adorable nuggets and I am grateful that they trusted me to capture these memories for them. Welcome to the world Nicholas and Michael! Mallory was another one of my superstar July babies! Mom and dad did not find out what they were having before she was born, so it was fun being able to pick out all the props for her session since there wasn't a previous color preference. I immediately gravitated towards my more rustic/wooden props, which turned out to be perfect since they have a barn on their property - and they even brought some barn wood to use during the session! It is beautiful, although not where near as gorgeous as miss Mallory! Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing little boy, Ben! He was a ROCKSTAR model and slept through his entire 3 hour session, yielding a huge gallery of images. Now that his wonderful family has had their gallery viewing, I'm excited to share more from his session with you! Now that this sweet girl's parents have had their gallery viewing, I'm so excited to show you more images from her session! Nora is BEAUTIFUL, just like her momma! And so lucky to have such wonderful parents and the best big brother ever! Little Liam just dotes over his sister and will be her protector growing up I'm sure. Oh sweet Benjamin, you are too cute! I know mom and dad are so happy you arrived early so they could start snuggling and kissing you. Welcome to the world little one! Little Broderick, aka Brody, arrived just one day past his due date, on June 2. He came to see me at 1 week old and rocked his session! While I was editing, I was playing around with black and white and I fell in love. I had forgotten just how powerful a good B&W image can be! Thankfully, mom and dad liked them too! Of course, some just look better in color, especially when the color is bright and bold, but now I need to try to remember to include a few B&W into every newborn session. Photographing 3 week old twins, Eva and Nora, was so fun! It was incredible to see how easily they snuggled up to one another and were perfectly content to be side by side. And, their big sister, Violet, is just the best! I can already tell the three of them will have so much fun growing up together. A sister is a best friend for life! Little Liam was in town for his aunt's wedding last weekend and I had the pleasure of being able to photograph him! At over 9lbs, he was pure chunky adorableness!! I typically do my newborn sessions when babies are 5-8 days old, but this little guy was a rock star and still let me pose him at 4 weeks old! Ah! I still can't get over how cute and sweet he is. Those rolls, man! They really need to make a support group for people addicted to photographing babies. I just can't get enough! <3 |
